Responsible for overall 24x7 operations of Application & Data Platforms (App Support, L1/L2, Data Warehouse, Big Data, ETL, Analytics, etc.) supporting mission critical applications and services.The individual must pay attention to details and be very proactive in driving continuous operational excellence.The individual will work under a very challenging environment in supporting numerous customer facing applications with very tight SLAs.The individual will be responsible for managing 24x7 operations support.The individual will be responsible for complete lifecycle management of all changes and projects involving one or more components/services of these Platforms.The individual will manage Administrators and Developers in matrix structure and work closely with other teams and business to ensure highest standards of operational support is provided for these Platforms and all services thereof.The Operations Manager will be responsible for operations of Applications and Data Platforms and will lead engineers and architects supporting the ecosystem.Responsible for managing optimum resource utilization.Experience in automating and streamlining operational aspects of 24/7 teams.Experience managing large scale 24x7 production support teamsRecent experience in managing infrastructure related projects or initiatives. Proven experience in driving analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of operational issues within defined SLAs.Proven experience in owning RCA, presenting findings & recommendations to Stakeholders, and proactively driving preventive and correction actions in timely manner.Conducting recurring meetings between product owners, development teams, support teams, and business to address operational issues.Responsible for complete lifecycle of change management, release management, and configuration management, and incident management processes.Responsible for tracking, reporting, and managing resources, shifts, incidents, tickets, changes, and projects.Responsible for taking ownership of managing planned and unplanned outages and driving business continuity.Responsible for estimations and forecasting. Responsible for ensuring resolution of outstanding operational issues.Responsible for proactively monitoring and managing health and performance of entire ecosystem. Responsible for following Agile/Scrum and Kanban to manage development work.Responsible for leading operations team to ensure 24x7 availability and reliability of platforms supporting critical products and services.
